Two-week Quantum Summer School (Q-Camp 2024) kicked off

The two-week Quantum Summer School (Q-Camp 2024) kicked off on 26 August, 2024! The event is hosted by the University of Gdansk and Kainos.

Q-Camp 2024 is designed for 25 ambitious young scholars from around the world who are eager to explore the revolutionary field of quantum technologies. The curriculum of Q-Camp 2024 offers a rare opportunity to learn from world-class experts through a dynamic blend of lectures and hands-on workshops. This challenge-oriented program provides participants with a unique chance to explore the rapidly evolving quantum landscape and equips them with the knowledge and skills to shape its future.

This year’s event will bring together students from 9 countries, 3 continents and 13 universities.

The opening of the event was attended by distinguished guests, including Prof. Anna Jurkowska-Zeidler (Vice-rector for International Cooperation), Pamela Krzypkowska (Director of RnD at Ministry of Digitization), Jakub Stempnik (Country Lead for Poland, Kainos). The scientific programme was opened by Prof. Tomasz Paterek (Xiamen University, Malaysia) with a lecture on the formalism of quantum information theory, entanglement phenomena and Bell’s nonlocality.
